On completion of his degree in Quantity Surveying from University of Moratuwa in 2007, Gayan Ratnayake started his career in the Middle East region working on large scale projects for international construction contractors.

Gayan has over 16 years global experience in various commercial positions in United Arab Emirates, KSA and Sri Lanka. He has a strong track record of managing a wide range of construction projects in a diverse array of sectors including Mix development Projects, Hospitals, Universities, Museums, Airports, Hotels, Residential Buildings and Civil Engineering Projects specialty with MEP stream.

In year 2021 January he joined EXCOM as a Commercial Manager and assisted to expand the company in Sri Lanka. He was appointed as the Branch Manager – Colombo in 2022 and responsible to deliver both UAE and KSA pre-contracts works.
